Edward F. Beeh, Jr., of Fort Dodge, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday April 2, 2011 in the Chapel of Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church with the Monsignor Kevin McCoy officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial.  Interment will follow in the Corpus Christi Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

         

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Trinity/St Edmonds Catholic School, Twin Lakes Christian Center, or Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.

         

Edward was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa February 16, 1928, the son of Dr. Edward F. Beeh and Anne (Barrett) Beeh.

         

Edward attended local schools in Fort Dodge and graduated in 1946 from Morgan Park Military Academy in Chicago, Illinois.  He also attended Babson College in Babson Park, Massachusetts. After working 37 years in the banking field, he retired in 1987 and then focused on his main passion, farm management. 

         

Edward was a lifelong member of Corpus Christi Church.  He was a devoted husband and father and will be missed by his friends and family.

         

Those thankful for having shared in Edward's life include his wife Martha; brother Robert Beeh and Darlene of Boca Raton, Florida; daughters Deborah and Douglas Gambrall of Anderson, Indiana, Diane and Tim Hancock of Fort Dodge, Iowa; son Edward F. Beeh III and Beth Ann of Phoenix, Arizona; step children Barry and Roberta Jacobson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Kirk and Karen Jacobson of Arnolds Park, Iowa, Ron and Kathy Jacobson of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Lisa and Kevin McCartney of Newton, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Brittany MacRitchie, Katey, Timothy, Lucy, Michael, Patrick Hancock, Catherine, Michael Beeh, eight step grandchildren, Sarah Nickless, Kyle, Cory, Christopher Orr, Amy Fleming, Erin Williams, Abby Jacobson, Chase McCartney and nine great grandchildren, Monroe MacRitchie, Treyce, Carter, Cade, Gabriel, Aurora, Jane Orr, Garrett Nickless and Madison Williams.

         

Mr. Beeh was preceded in death by his parents and step grandson Adam Jacobson.
