Edna Lee Henderson was born October 5, 1941 in Leland, Mississippi the daughter of Newton and Bessie Williams. The family moved to Fort Dodge in 1952.
Edna was educated in the Fort Dodge Public School system. In her early years she was one of the first Sunday School teachers at Calvary Memorial Church of God in Christ.
Edna worked very hard as a panel operator at Georgia Pacific for 25 years and retired from there. Edna was married to Thomas Howard and to this union three sons were born, Terry, Anthony and Theodore Howard.
Left to cherish Ednas memory are her six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, husband, Ronnie Henderson, her mother, Pastor Bessie Williams, three sisters, Ms. Pearl Wilson, Ms. Dorothy Bodady, Ms. Mary Bashir, two brothers, Mr. Charles Williams, Mr. Fred N. Williams, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
