Dorothy Frances Winters Peterson, 91, of Fort Dodge, died Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the Marian Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Interment will follow in the Fort Dodge Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time.

Dorothy was born September 9, 1914 the daughter of Franklin and Flossie (Newton) Myers in Fort Dodge, IA. On December 7, 1933 Dorothy was united in marriage to Glen Winters in Papillion, NE. Dorothy later married Robert Peterson on February 14, 1971 in Fort Dodge, IA.

During Dorothys relaxing past times she enjoyed crocheting, going fishing, and playing a good game of bingo.

Those thankful for having shared in Dorothys life include her children; Glen (Janet) Winters Jr. of Eau Clair, WI, Robert (Janet) Winters of Spokane, WA, Kenneth (Donna) Winters of Madrid, IA, Patricia Gribble of Fort Dodge, IA, and Mary Winters Laird of Fort Dodge, IA, one brother; Wayne Myers of Fort Dodge, and one sister; Vera Samuelson of Burlington, IA, 26 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, one sister; Evelyn, four brothers; Clifford, Richard, Melvin, and Dick, 3 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
