Doris Arlene McKim

 

                         Doris Arlene McKim, 83, of Fort Dodge, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center.            Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. James Chesnutt of Epworth United Methodist Church  officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Dodge Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.            Doris Reinartson was born January 30, 1926 in Fort Dodge, to Arthur and Verna (Gaster) Reinartson. In August of 1946 Doris was united in marriage to William G. McKim.            Doris loved to shop from home on the Home Shopping Network. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking and just tending to the home.            Those thankful for having shared in Doris life include her Son James (Cheryl) McKim, two grandchildren Josh and Shane McKim and niece Diana Thompson. Doris was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Verna Reinartson, her husband William McKim, sister Donna Leith, brother Robert Reinartson and grandson James McKim.
