David Lee Toftee

David Lee Toftee Sr., 69, of Webster City, IA, died Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge.  Private family services will be held at a later date with inurnment at Graceland Cemetery in Webster City.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

David was born December 28, 1952, in Clarion, IA, the son of Wayne and Ruth (Schoenfisch) Toftee.  He attended school in Webster City.  In 1973, David was united in marriage and to the union, two children were born:  David Jr. and Mike.  The couple later divorced.  David was self-employed and worked as a handy man doing odd jobs.  He enjoyed spending time with family, racing and working on cars.  David was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Webster City.

David is survived by 2 sons:  David Toftee Jr. and wife Heather K. Toftee of Webster City and Mike Toftee and wife Kim Toftee of Webster City; 4 grandchildren:  Ryan Toftee, Jordyn Toftee, Aryana Toftee and Jesse Toftee; and 3 brothers:  John Toftee and wife Deb of Georgia, Mark Toftee of Webster City and Jim Toftee of Webster City.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister:  Becky Wilson; brother:  Dale Toftee; granddaughter:  Madison Toftee; brother-in-law: Jim Wilson and sister-in-law: Marsha Toftee.
