Darrell W. Ferry, 48, of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, August 21, 2005 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2005 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Officiating will be the Rev. Karen Berg. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Lehigh, IA. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Darrell was born May 3, 1957 in Fort Dodge, IA. He graduated from high school and later became a nursing home administrator. He retired a few years ago do to health issues.

Darrell enjoyed working with his tools, spending time with his family, and collecting coins in his times of leisure.

Those thankful for having shared in Darrell’s life include his wife; Louise, parents; Leonard and Marlene Ferry of Hardy, IA, four children; Christopher (Amy) Ferry of Manson, IA, Amber Ferry of Watsonville, CA, Brent Ferry of Fort Dodge, IA, Kaleb Ferry of Fort Dodge, IA, one brother; Ken Kent of Phoenix, AZ, three grandchildren; Vanessa, Isabel, and Jose.

Mr. Ferry was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
