Dale W. Hudson
Dale W. Hudson of Fort Dodge was called home into the loving arms of his Savior, July 2, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Born July 10, 1926, Dale was a gentle, loving man of strong faith. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the subsequent occupation of Germany. Later in life he managed the Singer Sewing Machine Co. in Yankton, SD, Fairmont, MN and in Fort Dodge. He worked as a buyer for Kelco Warehouse Co. in Marshall, MN. While in Minnesota, Dale and his wife worked in Christian missions in Sunberg and Redwood Falls; and later co-managed the Villa Apartments in Parkview, IA, until retirement in 2005. Dale is survived by his wife Opal “Pally” (Porter) Hudson of 62 yrs; his children Naomi LaVonne (Jim) Skadal, Larry (Carol) Hudson, Nanette (Scot) Loveless, Ronny Hudson; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and sister Darlene (Hudson) Anderson. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Rossie Hudson. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home. There will be a private graveside service.
