Dale Lee Coleman

Dale Lee Coleman, 63, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Thursday, August 26, 2021, at his home. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Dale was born October 2, 1957, in Jefferson, IA, the son of Ross and Betty (Davis) Coleman. He grew up and attended school in Grand Junction, IA. He enlisted in the U.S. Military for a short time. Over the years, Dale worked odd jobs including roofing, snow removal and lawn care. Dale loved his kids and grandkids. He also loved fishing, camping, antique shopping and yard sales.

Dale is survived by 2 children: Heather Myers and husband Ben of Missouri and Leann Oakes of Boone, IA; 3 grandchildren: Haylee Myers, Richard Myers and Rosco Oakes; and 3 siblings: Sandy, Trish and Danny.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister: Nancy.
