Crystal M Arts

Crystal “Chris” M. Arts, 55, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at her daughters home: 2413 Elm Drive in Fort Dodge. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Crystal was born September 20, 1965, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Sylvan Cornielious and Earlene Jane (Mayberry) Arts. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1984. Over the years, she worked at Frigidaire, Hawkeye Cleaners and Best Western. Crystal enjoyed spending time with her grand kids, camping, fishing, kayaking, planting flowers and yard work. She also enjoyed a nice cold beer.

Crystal is survived by her daughter: Kayla Eaton and husband Derek of Fort Dodge; 2 grandchildren: Huxlee and Callan; her mother: Earlene Jane Arts of Fort Dodge; 2 siblings: Michael “Mike” Arts of Fort Dodge and Deb Kjellin and husband Irv of Fort Dodge; and a nephew: Matt Mundt and wife Kodi of Moorland, IA.

She was preceded in death by her father: Sylvan Arts.
