Craig Stanley Hatlestad

Funeral Services for Craig Hatlestad 69 of Fort Dodge will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until time of
service. Craig died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.

Craig Stanley Hatlestad was born June 7, 1947 in Bancroft, Iowa to Stanley and Rosina (Schneider)
Hatlestad. He grew up in Bancroft and graduated from Bancroft Public Schools. He then attended
Loras College. Craig moved to Chicago and worked for Ma Bell for several years before returning to
Bancroft. He managed the Bancroft Lumber Yard for a few years and attained his EMT Certificate. He
continued his education and received his RN license through Iowa Central Community College. Craig
worked for Trjfity Regional Medical Center for many years as paramedic, EMT and later as RN. He
then started working at the Correctional Facility in Fort Dodge and retired in 2011 due to failing health.
Craig was a life long member of NRA and he enjoyed putting model airplanes and ships together.

He is survived by his daughter Kennedie and her mother Jodie; by his siblings; Mark, John, Bill, Lynn
and Cathy. He,was preceded in death by his parents.

Craig will be loved by and missed by his daughter and all that knew him. After the service, Craig's body will be transported to the University Iowa to be used in their body donation program to further the studies of students attending the University of Iowa.
