Clark Herman Bickford

Clark Herman Bickford, 64, of LuVerne, IA, died Friday, February 14, 2020, at the Pomeroy Care Center. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Clark was born September 28, 1955, in Fort Dodge, IA, the son of Charles and Gretchen (Freeseman) Bickford. He was the youngest of 5 children. He grew up south of Fort Dodge and attended Prairie Community School in Gowrie. Clark worked as a mechanic and junker over the years. In recent years he began participating in flea markets and one of his favorite was setting up along Highway 141 for the big flea market. He never met a person he couldn't talk to and enjoyed being around people.

Clark is survived by his son: Travis (Danni) Bickford of Fort Dodge; siblings: Marie Lenz Kaufman of Manson, Craig (Deborah) Bickford of Fort Dodge and Calvin (Debra) Bickford of Hastings, OK; step-son: Chuck; 5 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother: Charles (Kurt) Bickford; and brother-in-law: LeRoy Lenz.
