Clair Richard George, 90, of Clare died Friday, November 4, 2005 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2005 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Kitterman officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2005 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge.

Clair was born June 15, 1915 in Peterson, IA the son of William Charles Sr. and Ellen (Crellin) George. He attended Fort Dodge High School through the 8th grade. Clair farmed for 60 years and was still active with the farm until his death. Mr. George served on the Clare Elevator Board for six years and was active as a 4-H leader.

Clair will be missed by his three sons Robert (Sandra) George of Humboldt, Iowa, Thomas (Joyce) George of Ankeny, Iowa and James (Linda) George of Badger, Iowa; brother William C. George Jr. of Moorland, Iowa; sisters Betty Pavolis of Akron, Iowa and Helen Habben of Arizona.

Preceding Clair in death is his wife Bernice who died in July of 1989; three sisters Deloris Thompson, Cecelia Edwards and Lorraine Holst; and his parents William Charles Sr. and Ellen George.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
