Charlotte A. Olson

Charlotte A. Olson, 90, of Fort Dodge, died Friday February 27, 2004 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004 at the Heritage Apartments Chapel, Friendship Haven. Inurnment will be held in North Lawn Cemetery.

Charlotte was born September 23, 1913 in Goldfield, IA the daughter of David and Emma (Hagemeister) Boge. She attended school in Fort Dodge and graduated with the class of 1932.

In 1945 Charlotte was united in marriage to Everett G. Olson in Fort Dodge. She owned and operated Charlotte’s Beauty Shop and retired in 1967. She resided for nine years at Friendship Haven Cottages and at the West Friendship Haven Apartments. Charlotte was a member of the St. Olaf Lutheran Church and The Order of Eastern Star.

Charlotte is survived by her beloved friends, John and Lin Simpson, one sister in law Virginia Boge, many beloved nieces and nephews and devoted friends.

Mrs. Olson was preceded in death by her parents, husband Everett in 1978, two sisters, Alice Boge, Mrs. Agnes Petersen, four brothers, Arch W. Boge, Harold J. Boge, H.J. “Jack” Boge, and David Boge.

Bruce’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
