Charles Lee Tritten, Sr., 68, of Fort Dodge, died December 8, 2009 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Nyman officiating. Charles was born March 24, 1941 the son of Ruben and Mildred (Cooley) Tritten in Rochester, MN. Charles worked as a brick layer for many years.Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors and always looked forward to his camping excursions. He became a father figure to many and always enjoyed visiting. Charles enjoyed working with and racing remote control cars.Those thankful for having shared in Charles life include his children: Charles (Brenda) Tritten, Jr., Tina Tritten, Rick Tritten, Jimmy (Mishey) Tritten, Kathy Tritten, Mike Tritten, Donnie Tritten, six step children: Stacie (Steve) Coppinger, Dawn (Donnie) Riley, Tony (Carla) Van Every, Melissa Hogan, Patrick (Angie) Van Every, Bobby Van Every, 32 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren.Mr. Tritten was preceded in death by his parents.
