Chad Layne Winters

Chad Layne Winters, 54, of Fort Dodge, IA, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.  Per Chad’s request, there will be no services.  He also requested no cards or flowers.  He did request for anyone that knew him to raise a glass and toast him.

Chad is survived by his son:  Brandon Lloyd; his brother:  Robb, and many friends he considered family.

He was preceded in death by his mother:  Andrea Schmeling; grandparents:  Max Schmeling, Phyllis Schmeling and Lena Grant.

Chad enjoyed history, traveling, watching the University of Iowa Football & Wrestling, the Chicago Cubs and the 85 Bears.  He could always make a short story long and especially enjoyed his time with his friends.
