Brett Harlan Harris

Brett Harlan Harris, 62, of Fort Dodge passed away Friday November 26, 2021 at the Paula J Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge.  Services will be held Monday November 29th at 3:00 pm at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Bode.  Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service.

Brett Harris son of Harlan “Cap” and Audrey (Pederson) Harris was born February 1, 1959 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  He grew up in Bode, graduated from Florida Culinary Institute, and served in the United States Army. 

In his spare time Brett enjoyed drag racing, shooting pool, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers, cooking and spending time with his dog.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Erica (Nick) Graves of Fort Dodge and Boyce (Courtney) Harris of Humboldt; Sister Peggy (Steve) Rorebeck; and Brothers Steve (Pam) Harris and Jack (Sue) Harris.  He is preceded in death by his mother and father.
