Betty Lou Baker

Betty Lou Baker 84 of Fort Dodge died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center. Private family funeral services will be held at a later date.

Betty Lou Baker was born September 3, 1932 in Lake City, Iowa to Richard and Effie (Armstrong) Tubbs. She grew up in Lake City and graduated for Lake City Public Schools. Betty was united in marriage to Bob Baker and to this union three children were born, Mike, Sherry and Phil. The couple later divorced. Betty was a realtor and sold real estate in Fort Dodge for over 50 years.

She is survived by her children; Mike Baker, Sherry Wilson (Lefty) and Phil (Cindy) Baker all of Fort Dodge. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her sister Gladys Clipperton of Estherville.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters; Sandy and Ruth.
