Anna Bertha Joslin

 

                                    Anna Bertha Joslin, 93, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday June 17, 2009. She was born March 4, 1916 the daughter of LeRoy and Anna (Piltz) Burkholder in Fort Dodge, Iowa. In 1932 Anna was united in marriage to Alex G. Joslin in Denison, Iowa.            Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Rolling Hills Community Church with the Reverend David Barton officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery.            Memorial contributions may be directed to the Rolling Hills Community Church.            Anna is survived by son Gene (Nancy) Joslin of Des Moines, Iowa, grandchildren: Steven, Jeffery and Karen, 7 great grandchildren, son Gary (Marie) Joslin of Fremont, Nebraska, grandchildren: David, Pamela and April, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Anna is also survived by her sisters Ruth Joslin and Lydia Hendrickson.            Mrs. Joslin was preceded in death by her husband Alex, son Earl, grandsons, Mark and Scott, granddaughter Kimberly and great grandson Isaiah.            Anna loved her Lord and Savior, enjoyed life, and looked forward to visiting her grandchildren.
