Agnes O. Hagen, 88, 420 Kenyon Road, passed away February 15, 2008 in her home.             Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday February 20, 2008 at the Fulton Lutheran Church, Roelyn.  Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home.              Agnes O. Orskog was born September 9, 1919 in rural Webster County, Iowa and attended Somers Consolidated School, where she graduated in 1937.  She attended Waldorf College in Forest City (1939-1941) and Drake University in Des Moines (1955-1968), where she earned her B.A.  She was also a graduate student at Drake University and the University of Northern Iowa.             After first teaching at Grand Meadow School, Washta, Iowa, she taught at the Callender Public School from 1944-1946.  After time off to become a mother, she returned to teaching in 1955, serving as Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at Prairie (Callender) until 1969.  In 1969 she taught 7th Grade English, Elementary and Junior High music until 1970.  From 1970-1974 she taught 7-9 English, Grammar at Prairie (Gowrie).    She retired from teaching in 1985.             She married Dale Hagen of Forest City, Iowa on February 8, 1944.  He was an accountant, and worked in grain merchandising, in the office at Marigold Foods and AAA Motor Club.  He was Fort Dodge City Treasurer for 17 years.             Agnes Hagen was very active in school, church, community affairs, a member of the National Education Association, the Iowa State Education Association and the Prairie Community Education Association in which she served as Vice-President, Secretary, Building Representative and as a member of its Executive Committee.             She served as Chairperson of the Junior and Senior High English Department, 7th grade Class advisor and the advisor for the 8th grade newspaper.              She was a life-long member of Fulton Lutheran Church, Roelyn.  She served as church organist, music director for the Sunday School Primary department, the Sunday school program director and was a member of American Lutheran Church Women.             Agnes was past president of the Webster County Retired Teachers and had been a member of the Webster County Womens Chorus.              Survivors include son Denis Hagen of Wheaton, Illinois and many loving nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Ole and Andrea Orskog, her sister Lena Harklau and brothers Oliver and Melverd Orskog.
